We are teaming up with Two Wild Seeds, a local gluten free bakery, to offer a special program at co-owner, Katie McCall's warm welcoming space , titled, "Daring to Rest." Inspired by the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra, from Karen Brody's book by the same title. I will guide guests through a deep journey of rest and respite to a place of well-being and creativity and inspiration. As women, we seem to be asked to be and do it all. This is an opportunity to give to yourself this guided deep yogic sleep and find that you will awaken to the energy and potential aliveness that is already within you. We will end with tea and baked refreshments from the talented team at Two Wild Seeds, where they artisan craft every baked, gluten free goods with fresh whole ingredients with love. We share the same philosophy of putting love and kindness into every class, private session and workshop we offer, and are happy to co-sponosor this program experience. There wll be time to process the experience of Yoga Nidra.
Be ready to rest deep and restore!

Let's play and explore through this multi-dimensional workshop involving body-based awareness, movement, music, nature, creative visualization and self-inquiry using enneagram, to discovering our innate gifts and signposts along the way. Award -winning workshop designer, body centered psychotherapist, author, teacher & coach, Ruthie Landis, will teamup with veteran Greenleaf yoga teacher, meditation leader, and creative visualization guide, Pamela O'Brien, to lead us through this deep dive into Self, finding how meaning and purpose lead to a well-spring of JOY!
Amazingly our purpose is often hidden in plain sight. It sits at the root of our very essence. Our life experiences can be at this very root directing us and showing us signposts. If we follow our intuition and those signposts ~ Purpose shows her face and Meaning makes our lives all the richer!
It begins in childhood with the idea that you could be and do anything you set your mind and heart on. Let us go back to a time when anything and everything was possible!
Who is Ruthie Landis?
I am truly delighted and honored to welcome Ruthie back to Greenleaf Yoga. She and I had a delightful time discovering the topic of Receiving back in December with 30 guests. She is an extraordinary talent who shares her healing gifts and creative tools through many avenues. Be it accessing dialoging with the body; inviting in knowledge of the Enneagram to understand ourselves and others, using art and acting as healing, tapping into the subconscious through guided visualizations, or teaching her clients and students to learn the language of the body to help themselves, Ruthie is a rare gem!
Personally, Ruthie has been both a spiritual and emotional mentor, someone I call my "mind/body therapist." She has helped guide me to bridge the divide within myself, lighting a lantern in the darkest corners of my Being. She has helped me to face my fears, continually transform my life for the better, learning to trust my intuition, and be guided by my inner knowing. Through Ruthie I have been able to more deeply help others.
